This medicine is an antihistamine used to treat hay fever and other allergic conditions such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes, and sneezing.

Zyrtec - Directions
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. THIS MEDICINE MAY BE TAKEN on an empty stomach or with food. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Zyrtec - Cautions
THIS MEDICINE WILL ADD TO THE EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL and other depressants. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have questions. DO NOT DRIVE, OPERATE MACHINERY, OR DO ANYTHING ELSE THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS until you know how you react to this medicine. Using this medicine alone, with other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or to perform other potentially dangerous tasks. FOR WOMEN: IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this medicine.

Product Description
            •Lets you perform normally.
            •Fast, effective and long lasting relief (24 hours) of itchy, watery eyes, sneezing and runny nose caused by seasonal allergies, and itching due to allergic skin reactions, such as hives.
            •Relief of symptoms caused by allergies to: ragweed, pollen, grass, dust, pets, mold.
            •Available in packages of 10, 20, 30 and 48 tablets
Directions for Use
Adults under 65 years of age and children 12 years of age and over: 1 Extra Strength Tablet (10 mg) every 24 hours.
Adults 65 years and over: 1 Regular Strength Tablet (5 mg) every 24 hours. Consult a doctor if you are unsure about dosage.
            •Do not exceed recommended dosage.
            •Prolonged use only as directed by a doctor.

CAUTION: This product should not be taken by anyone who is pregnant or nursing a baby, nor by anyone with liver or kidney disease, unless advised by a doctor. Exercise due caution when driving or operating a vehicle or potentially dangerous machinery.
Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
Store below 30 ºC (86ºF).
